Welcome to the Parkdale CI School Advisory Council (SAC) website!
The SAC is a volunteer advisory body, formed by the parents and guardians of Parkdale CI students. Our purpose is to support the staff at Parkdale CI to enhance our children’s educational experience and to strengthen their sense of community, both within the school and around our neighbourhood.

We encourage parents and guardians to attend SAC meetings to have a voice in decisions being made at our school and to stay informed about issues that affect our children. The SAC meets once a month during the school year, excluding December and March. Check out the Events section for the date and location of upcoming meetings and the Governance section for minutes of past meetings.

PCI SAC Meeting to discuss proposed IB Fees!
The TDSB is once proposing to levy IB Fees at public schools that run the IB program. This has been brought up before and quashed based on the fact that it won't work and is an exercise in inequity. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the May 7th PCI School Advisory Council meeting at the PCI Library at 7PM or join via Zoom to add their voice and determine next steps! The agenda can be found here. Trustee Debbie King will attend the meeting and looking to hear our concerns.
